Gail Van Rooyan

Gail Van Rooyan, Engineering Tech for Laredo Energy, joined the company at its inception following employment with Michael Petroleum Corporation. Prior to that, she worked as a legal secretary for Southerland, Asbill & Brennan law firm in Washington, D.C., before returning to Houston in 1993.

Ms. Van Rooyan is responsible for the company’s railroad commission work, which involves coordinating regulatory and compliance activities with the Texas Railroad Commission. She does all permitting needed to get company wells ready for drilling and prepares all monthly production reports for Laredo.

She attended the University of Houston for two years.  Gail and her husband, Gary, are avid cyclists.
