Douglas E. Swanson, Jr. is a vice president with EnCap Investments LLC. Prior to joining EnCap, he served as assistant vice president for Frost National Bank. Swanson began his career as a financial analyst with Southwest Bank of Texas where he developed underwriting skills by providing analytical services on credit transactions.

Swanson is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received a BA in economics and a MBA in finance.

Memberships include the Independent Petroleum Association of America and the Houston Producers' Forum. Swanson also serves on the board of directors of AROC, Inc. and on the business development board of Sterling Bank.
